Miss Crissy Forsythia Primitive Doll Sewing Pattern

Vermont Harvest Folk Art by Doreen Frost

Regular price $10.00 Sale

Miss Crissy Forsythia is made from aged, painted and sanded Osnaburg, weighted with walnut shells and stuffed with wool and lavender. She has tiny black French knot eyes and a wee painted beak. Her tiny wings are string jointed and may be posed in different positions.

She wears a gathered waist dress made from hand dyed reproduction fabric in shades of Golden Harvest, creams and dark brown. She also wears a shawl made from aged muslin with a rusty pin closure. In her wing she holds a small dried clover. Miss Crissy Forsythia stands 14” tall.

~Miss Crissy is a simple little stump doll and is very simple to make. She originated from my "Christmas Goose" doll that I offered years ago and in which I had many request for the pattern.~
