Louisa's Garden Folky Wool Applique Table Mat

The design was inspired by an illustration from 1807. It features four lovely birds among a field of florals, leaves, stems, and hearts.
Hand stitched, by me, from rich hand-dyed Blackberry Primitives wool in rich harvest colors of Mustard, Old Straw, Sunflower, Eggplant, Cream, Flax, Sand, Green, and a bit of Black.
